I have set up this website to help educate you on health and fitness. I will be emphasising the importance of complementing good nutrition with a healthy and active lifestyle. Most importantly, I will be providing information on how to lose weight (the healthy way). And yes, there are many ways to lose weight but not all of them are good for your health. For example, I recently saw an advert on Facebook of someone promoting a fad weight loss diet consisting of only Haribo, cheesecake and Pringles. With a bit of knowledge on calculating calories and energy balances, it is possible to lose weight eating only these foods but as I am sure you are aware, such a diet isn’t going to do your long term health any good what so ever. I will also be providing information on improving fitness levels and making better food choices, both of which go hand in hand with weight loss.
